CT-PAH produces events throughout the year — from our monthly Pet Night anchor to seasonal fundraisers and community celebrations. Here’s what we get up to:
Pet Night Our flagship monthly event, held at 168 York St Cafe in New Haven every second Thursday. Each Pet Night features an educational discussion on a petplay or kink-adjacent topic, a guarded puppy mosh, and dance music from regional and national DJ talent. Pet Night has run consistently every month since November 2021 and is the heartbeat of the CT-PAH community. All are welcome — no experience necessary.
Halloween Costume Contest Every October, CT-PAH hosts its annual Halloween Costume Contest, one of the most anticipated events on our calendar and a fundraiser for LGBTQ+ causes.
December Toy Drive & Sip and Paint Each December we close the year with a Toy Drive alongside a Sip and Paint led by Ricky Mestre, Mr Connecticut Leather 2026, benefiting children in need during the holiday season.
Summer Patio Drag Shows When the weather warms up, CT-PAH takes the party outside with drag shows on the patio at 168 York St Cafe, celebrating the overlap between the drag and petplay communities and often raising money for LGBTQ+ organizations in the process.
Charity Events Throughout the year CT-PAH produces additional fundraising events benefiting LGBTQ+ organizations. Past beneficiaries include the Trevor Project, GLAAD, and the True Colors conference. Follow us on social media or join our Telegram and Discord communities to stay up to date.
