CT-PAH Mission Statement

Crest with Connecticut at the top, Pets and Handlers at the bottom, and the puppy play flag within the outline of the state of Connecticut in the middle

Connecticut Pets and Handlers (CT-PAH) is a statewide LGBTQ+ organization dedicated to building inclusive, consent-aware community spaces for pets, handlers, and kinksters of all kinds. We are committed to providing safe spaces for education, play, and connection; to celebrating the leather and petplay traditions that shaped us; and to giving back to the LGBTQ+ community through charitable events and outreach across Connecticut.

CT-PAH is a Connecticut-based LGBTQ+ leather and petplay organization with a community of over 240 members across the state. We exist to create safe, consent-aware spaces where pets, handlers, and kinksters of all kinds can learn, play, and belong.

Our anchor event is Pet Night — a monthly gathering at 168 York St Cafe in New Haven featuring educational discussions on petplay and kink-adjacent topics, a guarded puppy mosh, and dance music from regional and national DJ talent. Pet Night has run consistently every month since November 2021.

Beyond our monthly events, CT-PAH produces seasonal fundraisers and community events throughout the year, raising money for LGBTQ+ causes and bringing our community together across Connecticut.

We are proud to be a genuine safe space for trans and queer people in the leather and kink communities — a place where you can show up exactly as you are.
